Cheryl was Playmate of the Month for February 1958. Her pictorial was titled Playmate on Skis.
Cheryl was born March 11, 1938, in Los Angeles and attended Fairfax High School. She appeared as a “glamour lovlie” in Ken Murry’s Blackouts (a racy, stage variety show on the Las Vegas stage circa 1956); the show was a hit and ran for three years. She modeled extensively for men’s magazines, both before and after her Playboy pictorial.
She was married to John W. Hawksley. They had a daughter, Rachel Hawksley, in 1967. She has an uncredited role as a girlfriend in the movie “Pal Joey” (1957) and played an inmate in the movie “Smokey and the Judge” (1980).
Cheryl died May 28, 1988, in Los Angeles, at age 50.
